Last week was the 40th anniversary of the Supreme Court's landmark Roe v. Wade decision. On Friday, I covered the March for Life for the New York Times. Despite the extremely cold weather, tens of thousands of anti-abortion supporters from around the country turned out for the march.

I covered Capitol Hill for the New York Times for a few days last week. On Thursday, Senator Dianne Feinstein announced her plans to roll out legislation that would ban military-style assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Prior to the press conference, this frame of a staffer adjusting the curtains next to all of the high powered guns caught my eye.
